Once upon a time, I moved from Texas to New York City for only an internship in public relations, which helped get my foot in the door of the communications world. Never having been to NY before, I made the big move for my career and the adjustment has been quite a ride.
This blog is a collection of my adventures in NY and in PR. I hope to track everything beautiful in the city that never sleeps from fashion, health, food, and basically everything involved in the daily hustle and bustle of the city AND also everything SCARY exciting about working and succeeding professionally in the city where the media sleeps, eats, and breathes…hence Beauty and the Pitch (communication between the media or client and pr folk)
