Something about the tech world gets me completely mezmorized about the endless possibilities for our future. Working knee-deep in tech PR, I get to hear first hand of the developments and what our future holds and it drives me on the daily to work harder to see these visions come to life. I mean the brain of an engineer….
The issue? I now have this need where I must have the best technology at all times and stay modern and current. Like, ugh to iPhone 6. Too bad I’m trying to be “financially smart” but here are the absolute best girly gadgets that any working girl would totally dig and on my buy-now list:
Logitech Play Collection Mouse | $29.99
Ok I know we all have laptops and what not but I still use a wireless mouse because I guess I don’t have good finger coordination (don’t go there pervs). Whatever it may be, my black mouse is SO BORING comparitively to this one that has so much personality and so cute I could hug it. Ca mon, even if you don’t use a mouse, don’t you just want this one still?
Repeat: Chanel Lipstick Portable Charger. Need I say more? Apple juice (or Android…whatever, not judging…) whenever you need it in a handy little gadget that looks like a lipstick and even comes with the packaging and all. Talk about glam on the go that would fit perfectly in your clutch. Especially for us chronic snapchatters which kills your battery like whoa.
Tory Burch for Fitbit | $175
I absolutely love my new Fitbit Flex arm candy that my dad got my for my birthday. It keeps me so honest and reminds me to walk around and put a pep in my step to reach my health and fitness goals. However, I would equivalently love this bracelet to add to my wearables arsenal by Tory Burch making my tracker so much more chic then the current black house arrest wrist bracelet…
Ringly | $195
Jewelery, meet more technology (looking at the chunky stone one). Say you’re at an event and can’t just be on your phone… or like maybe you have a needy BF… you get the rift? Well this ring will alert you of priority notifications and keep you connected with what matters most to you by lighting up or vibrating. Basically, keeps you from “being rude” but still on your communications game. I mean the price tag is pretty steep… but I still weirdly really want it?
LuMee | $50ish
This is like the IT item for all celebs and bloggers right now taking your selfie game to the next level with the LuMee iPhone case which is basically a large flashlight for your phone. Kardashians swear by it. Literally, they need no other endorsement….
Seems we’ve come a long way since this CIO article from 2000 on Why women hate IT? Because most technology products are designed for men (insert endless eye roll emojis)
I guess being a tech nerd isn’t so bad….
