Where has this month gone? In fact where did the entire year of 2015 go? I’ve been extra MIA (unless you follow me on Snapchat, then maybe you’ve seen too much of me already…) and I wish I could say it was because I was focusing on the book and being super productive on the path of publishing. I did do some work like tiny, itty bits amounts of research on which “publishing path” I want to explore but really most of my time went to family as one of my closest cousin got married this past weekend. But now, I’m back and kicking off the “blogging by night” adventures by celebrating Beauty and the Pitch’s 4th ever blog birthday!!!
This past year, I saw extreme successes for Beauty and the Pitch which I’m so grateful for and sometimes still in awe about. From rebranding to refocusing but also launching the bloggers LinkUP series, starting my photography adventures, meeting beauty gurus like Charlotte Tilburry and attending Beautycon in between all of the great content (at least I hope!).
Reaching 4, I know couldn’t have done any of this without my lovely BATPers supporting me to reach for the stars and chase my dreams, all willy nilly without slowing down so THANK YOU! Thank you for continuing to come back to read more – even with the gaps of time and periods of silence in between – and pushing me to reach new goals. A Happy BATP Birthday to all of you as well because some of you have been following me from the beginning of time when I talked about making snowmen in New York. I’ve spoke with many of you throughout the years, and I love, love, loveeee hearing from you, and one thing I heard quite a bit in the last year is the want for more working girl posts. I hear you, loud and clear, and I think as we celebreate another birthday for Beauty and the Pitch it’s fair to go back to my roots a bit and share more work experiences, tips and tricks and career advice. I’m no expert by any means… just a girl with 6ish years now of experience and more than enough to say all the time from interview success to PR stunts and drab.
There’s so much to look forward to in the year ahead but mostly y’all make BATP the blog that I love so incredibly much and just can’t let go of.
Let’s celebrate 4(ever),
