Oh 2015, this was the year that I decided to not having a plan but to act on it. Whatever “it” is. Just do it and stop giving excuses. I had a couple resolutions in mind: write more, pay off my debt and get stronger but mostly the mantra was just f**king do it. I learned a couple hard lessons along the way and realized the importance of shifting things around a bit to make my dreams happen which changed the “said resolutions” and very much set the standard of who I am as a person: no bull please. Also I realized, I can’t control 90% of my life. The 10% I can control, I wanted to make sure I made the mostof it. That flexibility and putting my foot down has allowed me to grow and become stronger – which afterall “becoming stronger” was one of those resolutions…. at least in a literal sense, so hey. I see that as an accomplishment.
But most of all, looking back, music defined my year.
There are still three more days left in the year, but I hope to carry around my 2015 attitude with me forever. And for those that are still looking to accomplish a couple more things, like myself, we can still make the most of this year since it’s not over just yet!! To keep you motivated, DJ BATP is back and this time tracking all of the best songs that debuted and rocked out in 2015.
Summary: Coachella, Justin Beibz, Drake, Selena Gomez, and Adele rocked my musical world in 2015. Which means I was also successful in getting over my Amanda Bynes twitter obession. I guess we can say this was a really good year and I can’t wait to see whats in store for 2016!
