Here we are, at the last and final post about all things Coachella (mostly because after 3 the roman numerals get kinda confusing. No?) Back to the basics and the most important part of any music festival: the music. I’ve personally held back from concerts before because I didn’t necessarily know the artists performing or all of the songs. Never again will I protest because there is no better way to listen to music than real-life and in-person. There’s an element of musical surprise.
Since I’ve been back from Coachella, I’ve found a deep pleasure in jamming out hard to the beat of the song. Particularly in this great summer Texas weather we’ve had lately, with the windows down and hair blowing in the breeze. It’s exhilarating! I’ve also found no productive day than the ones where I’ve tuned out. I suppose I never realized music could do that to you. Really and truly just carry you. Maybe it’s the Coachella in you, once you’ve been, there is no other way of life.
Either way, DJ Bat.P’s newest set has you covered to join on our musical journey of a new way to listen to music wherever you may be, from Mojave to Gobi or Do Lab. Listen to a few (or all) of the Coachella-spired tunes and let us know of your favorites!
However, must admit, since I’ve been back my allergies have been crazy daisy. I can’t breathe or smell or live like this – but maybe some of this has to do with the concussion I received via 18 wheeler too so who knows, a story for another post, another day. Until then music cures all.
That’s a ‘ella-wrap,
