Music Festivals are big experimental playgrounds to figure out new likes and dislikes as an adult. When you were younger, it was SO much easier trying new things and figuring out what your interests were. Somewhere along the way, you form habits and prefer the norms. Well one weekend at a music festival allows you to break boundaries and step out of your habits. From new food, to dance moves, music of course, friends and fashion… the exploration is limitless. Things you’ve never tried or considered before, you can in a no judgement zone, as long you have the courage to do so…
You can find new interests like how much you enjoy dancing barefoot in the sand.
Or find new source of happiness like spinning in circles while the hot sun bathes down on you (because now this is all I want to do every day!)
Or find a new fashion style because inspiration is abundant! Anything works! Literally.
So if you are headed to a music festival this summer why not try out some festival-fashion to get out of your comfort zone a little? Before Coachella, I always wanted to rock black booties… weirdly, I just never thought it matched my style. Post-ella: it’s a staple in my closet. Even in this hot weather! Some festival must haves include chic hats and small back packs – basically the essentials – but then there are some fashion trends that you just want to explore for that moment. Go crazy with it including some of my favorites below!
Just a fair warning about flash tattoos: as adorable as these gold and silver tattoos are, and as “in” as they are, know that they freaking leave a tan line…or tan shape. I didn’t know this heading into 100 degrees hot weather.
