True Move, a Thai telecommunications services, reminds everyone in their new ad campaign, “Giving,” that giving (yes, over hugs, smiling and, um, words) is the best communication. And what better way to prove this theory with a tearjerker video because, of course, visuals is also a great form of communication… at least in the PR world of 2013.
So I decided to also give “giving” a chance and this morning on the way to work in not-moving-traffic-of-what-is-now-my-life I gave a random man enough space to cut me to enter the highway before me and, ultimately, cut a bunch of traffic that I sat through morbidly. I don’t think he saw my face but he better be returning the favor 30 years from now… Tune back in 2043 and I’ll let you know how it goes. (True sad story, I just busted out a calculator to do that math. Writer is my name, def not a mathematician). (Another side, I almost maybe wrote out math-er first so maybe writing fail for the day). (As my last side, and I don’t mean to hone, but point and case – I think smiles go a longer way. If I would have smiled at the man, well like, he would have smiled back and I wouldn’t have to wait three decades for a return).
Giving is the best slowest communication,
