A night when all of Manhattan transforms into Times Square – Fashion’s Night Out.
A night where high fashion meets high volume as fashionistas mix with “pro-consumer economists” to strut the streets of NYC to catch a glimpse of promised A-list celebrities, buy the best jewelz, clothes and shoes while sipping on champagne, and carrying high hopes to capture a glimpse of every musical performance in the 1 mile radius (Cyndi Lauper performing Girls Just Wanna Have Fun at Manolo Blahnik…. genius.)
That’s FNO for you in one sentence… and some may have doubted my ability to do this but it just happened (see above). You can stop right there because the next sentence is just to say how much I love NY and how only a city so creative, so popular, so amazing and sleepless could only truly celebrate fashion and shoes appropriately for any girl, not just your PR Girl. Yes, I will get off of my Carrie Bradshaw platform now.
Cheers to the beginning of fashion week in the only place in the world that could handle it, and baby, thats New Yawk!
